“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”
“There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light –that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. “
“That was the true Light, which lights every man that cometh into the world.”
“He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. ” –John 1:1-14

“Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my (The Apostle Paul’s) gospel: Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.” –2 Timothy 2:8-10

What a glorious Easter celebration we had this year and the joy of the resurrection just swells in my heart bigger everyday! I am so overwhelmed by His great and unshakable love for me … Even in our trials and tribulations He gives us peace ….I am filled with the wonder of His mercy towards me inspite of my battle with feelings of guilt and unworthiness… He was slain for me! Worthy …He is worthy and my heart rejoices at the precious , amazing , greatness of His gift of life for me! While I was yet a sinner Christ died for me and took all my shame and guilt and sins on that cross and settled my debt for me…I am debt free! There is no interest on the debt! It was completely paid! I love you Jesus! You are my hope…My rock and my salvation! I trust in You….. Glory to Your name!
The first sign of an abusive group is that it is authoritarian. When it comes right down to it, control is more important than personal spiritual welfare. Leaders in an authoritarian system are not teachable. The attitude, like that of the Pharisees, is that they are the teachers and rulers of God’s people, not their servants. They may say they are teachable, but then set up rules which you must follow to approach them. Then they interpret those rules to rule you out of order. The former members of one particular group described to the author how their leader used this method to avoid accountability. He kept pointing out how their “heart is not right” in the way they brought issues to him. — David Henke
He is risen indeed!
Our hope, our joy, our new life! Our forgiveness for sin, our victory OVER sin!
Glory to God! We love you, Jesus!
The Word of God Is Not Bound!
Glory, Glory, Hallelujah, You reign! Lord God!
